President of MTP Hospitality
Noorali is a native of Uganda, he went to University in England at Chelsea College. Noorali moved to the Midland, Texas area in 1978. He has bought and renovated several hotel properties throughout Texas. His leadership expertise and business philosophies are the heart of this company. Noorali continues to be very active in the development and growth of his staff and the communities in which they are located.
SHAFIK A. TEJANI
Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management
Shafik was born and raised in Uganda, before moving to England where he completed his high school education. After graduation, Shafik relocated to Texas and attended Texas Christian University. While at TCU, he was recognized as the Outstanding College Leader of the Year. In early 1996, Shafik negotiated and purchased the Ramada Inn at the Midland International Airport in Midland, Texas. Over the next three years this property went from one of the worst to one of the best in the system, and won the Ramada Renovation of The Year Award in 2000. In 2001 Shafik was nominated, and awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year in the state of Texas, by The Texas Black Chamber of Commerce. In 2012 Shafik accepted the Permian Basin Family Business of the Year!
Senior Vice President of Operations
Keith is a native West Texan, raised in Odessa. Keith has 30 years of experience in hotel management. He began his career in San Antonio. The industry has taken him from the Odessa/ Midland area to Omaha, Amarillo and finally back to Midland. Keith spent nine years as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn, the following two years as an Area Director. The next nine years were spent as a Regional Operations' Manager with a return to the local area where he assumed the helm of the Hilton in downtown Midland; now the Double Tree. In addition to his duties as the General Manager, Keith serves as the Senior Vice President for MTP Hospitality. The focus of Keith's business career has been managing to profit in changing dynamics. Asset management coupled with strong marketing and operations form a three pronged approach. Keith focuses on big picture dynamics to bring balance to the business environment. Keith believes in the mantra, "serve your team members tirelessly, and the clients and dollars will come."
Vice President of Finance
Bhairavi joined MTP Hospitality in 2009 as a bookkeeper and currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance. Bhairavi oversees the daily, weekly, monthly and annual financial reporting. She also manages payroll, accounts receivable/ payable and cash flow reporting for the assets within our company. Bhairavi is involved in the management of cash for future investments, and gathering information for construction funding. In addition to her accounting duties, Bhairavi assists in new computer software/PMS installs at our hotel sites. She demonstrates a dedication to the company's promise, vision and mission.
Corporate Responsibility Manager
Helen was born in South Western New York. She has held several management positions in a variety of businesses. Most recently Helen spent five years as the Office Manager of Bynum School, a nonprofit school for children with disabilities. Helen came to us in March of 2011 as a Journey Ambassador at our Hilton property. She now manages our sustainability initiatives as well as our philanthropic endeavors in the communities we live and work in.
